Conversations on Mental Health
On today’s episode of Celebrations Chatter, we honor May being Mental Health Awareness Month by bringing you selected interviews with mental health activists, behavioral scientists, and HR leaders to discuss a multitude of perspectives on mental health in our society.
Our guest speakers include former New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice John T. Broderick Jr., psychologist and The Contentment Foundation CEO Dr. Dan Cordaro, New York University Langone psychiatrist and PTSD exper Dr. Charles R. Marmar, Bring Change to Mind Treasurer MonaLisa Como, and Morgan Stanley Managing Director Kathleen Entwistle.
In these selected interviews, we cover mental health in the workplace, learn about the universal emotional language, share personal stories, and discuss how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the conversation around mental health in the United States and globally. Each speaker brings to the table their years of expertise and personal experiences in an educational and affecting way. Whether you personally are affected by mental illness or have a loved one who suffers, just know you are not alone and that you are loved and cared for. As May is winding down and we prepare to enter June, we hope you remember that your mental health matters in every month, help is available, and you are important.
Best,
Jim McCann
