Music's Transformative Power: Healing and Inspiring with Musicians On Call

Some of you might be surprised to learn that one of my all-time favorite songs is “Keep on Walkin'” by CeCe Peniston. There's just something about that beat that never fails to lift my spirits, regardless of how I'm feeling.

Music holds a profound ability to evoke emotions, regulate mood, contribute to overall well-being, and much more. My guests on today’s Celebrations Chatter are intimately familiar with the positive effects music can have on those who are facing challenges.

Just before the holidays, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with three remarkable individuals who were united by the extraordinary organization, Musicians on Call (MOC). MOC's mission is to bring live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare environments. In this special episode, Pete Griffin, President and CEO of MOC, Alissa Pollack, EVP of Global Marketing at iHeartMedia and Chairperson at MOC, and the incredibly talented artist and MOC contributor, Gavin DeGraw, share their insights on how they bring about positive change in the lives of those who need it most.

Tune in as each of my guests opens up about their personal experiences with the transformative power of music. Discover the meaningful ways they contribute to healing, impacting not only patients but also their families, caregivers, and the surrounding community.

Best,

Jim McCann
