Did you know that forming connections with other people helps us live longer?

According to Dr. Monique Andrews, how we approach the world is critical to our health, wellness, and longevity. People who are engaged, social, and feel a sense of purpose are more likely to live longer and lead fulfilling lives. Alongside that, studies have shown that practicing mindfulness has numerous other benefits for our mental and physical health.

I recently invited Dr. Mo to join me on Celebrations Chatter, where we discussed how mindfulness practices can help us manage chronic illness, heal from trauma, and increase our longevity. Dr. Mo shares how her experience in chiropractic medicine and neuroscience has given her a unique perspective on the relationship between mind and body, and how she is teaching these principles to others through her new venture, cōpe (https://letscope.org/). We also explored how mindfulness relates to end-of-life practices, and how we can better prepare ourselves in our twilight years.
