Transforming Caregiving Culture: Supporting Employee Caregivers with Debbie Howard

Caregivers are the backbone of our families and communities, but how often do we truly see and support them?

On this week's Celebrations Chatter, I sat down with Debbie Howard, an author and caregiving advocate whose journey began when she left a successful 30-year career in Japan to care for her mother. Along with my co-host Rhonda Klug from Harry & David, we explored the often-invisible challenges facing the estimated 53 million Americans who are caregivers today.

For employers, this conversation is particularly relevant. Studies suggest that 1 in 5 employees are juggling work with caregiving responsibilities, so we need to support our caregiving workforce.
