Communication is the bedrock of building and improving relationships, but the actual ways in which we communicate have evolved alongside new technologies. A text, phone call, email, and in-person conversation all have their own set of rules and nuances, and understanding these is important to making sure that we don’t accidentally send the wrong message. How can we make sure that we are thoughtful in how we present ourselves to others in the age of digital communication?

Few people I know are as qualified to discuss communication than Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Charles Duhigg, who I recently sat down with on Celebrations Chatter. Charles is the author of “Supercommunicators,” which explores the fundamentals of how conversations work.
